Absolutely heartsick about Carey's passing.  Remembering such a dear girl at Central, and she was that same person at the reunion.  Carey had such a unique laugh!!  One of the best of the class of '72...

Yes Bill she was.  We were just together the weekend before for a girl's trip to Sioux Falls with my sisters, daughter, niece and cousins.  Carey was part of my family.  We are still in shock.

I knew Carey in junior high as well as in high school. She was such a fun person. Truly, I am so very saddened at her passing. God's grace and strength to her family during this difficult time.

So sad to hear about Carey.  She was such a fun and caring friend in high school.  My heart goes out to her family during this time.  We all will have such wonderful memories of Carey.

It seems like yesterday that I was teasing Carey at the reunion about not staying in touch and how she bailed as my roomate at the Univ. of Iowa. We were so scared leaving Sioux City and it seemed like 5 hours was a lifetime away from home.  We cried that first night in our dorm overwhelmed with fear and excitement of what tomorrow would bring.  Carey was there as I faced one of the most life altering decisions I had to make with my life that first year of college.  She was supportive and encouraging and I will forever hold her close to my heart.  Its those individuals who you always remember and whose absence touches us all as evidenced in the comments I have been reading.  Carey has never changed.  She treated everyone with kindness and respect and never judged.  God Bless and keep her.  Love you girl.

I knew Carey as a friendly up beat person, always smiling and seemed to be having fun in life.  My sympathies go out to your family and, may you rest in peace, In the arms of the lord.
