Very sad to read this. Like many of us I knew Craig since Bryant, and then through Trinity. Birthday parties, trick or treating. Always a great all around guy. He'll be missed.

I had gotten a call from Craig’s ISU college roommate, Scott Carlson, perhaps those of you that went to Hoover remember him.  Immediately told myself that this call can’t be good.  Craig died of congestive heart failure. Was released from hospital day before.  Saw Craig last Christmas when he was back to Sioux City visiting his Mother. Whenever he came back he always enjoyed hearing and telling “ small world stories” where he crossed paths with someone with Sioux City or ISU  ties.  He had retired early as he said work interferes with golf and his home remodeling projects.  Had left Southern California a couple years age to “be a hermit in Idaho”.

So sorry to hear about Craig. Such a nice guy. He wrote to Mike a few years ago regarding Iowa and Iowa St. They had some laughs about that. He and his family are in our prayers. All thoughts of Craig will bring a smile to us all. God has his loving arms wrapped around him now.
