February 25, 1954 - July 1, 2024

Ricky Lee Jahn, 70, of Sioux City, IA passed away Monday, July 1, 2024 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined by family. Ricky was born the son of Raymond and Velma Jahn on February 25, 1954 in Sioux City, Ia. He graduated form Central High School. After high school, he began to pursue his career in carpentry and cabinetry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, bowling, playing pool, camping and time on the water. Most importantly, he loved time with family and friends.

He is survived by his fiance Patricia Sue Hartwell and also his former wife, Sharon Wilde, with whom they shared two sons. Ricky is survived by sons Jeremy (Sara) Jahn, Jason (Danelle) Jahn; grandchildren Ireland Reed, Caleb Jahn, Isaac Jahn, Nathan Reed, Abigail Jahn, William Jahn, Annabelle Jahn and several bonus grandchildren. We would like to thank all friends and family for their continued support during Rick's long battle with cancer. He fought through the entire process with a strong will.
