I attended Steven's funneral today! It has been difficult to see our classmates pass. The attendunce was strong with alot of people there, as Steve was well liked and active in our community and church leader.
Rest in Peace Steven, you will be missed!
Dave Tieck will be missed by many of us in this class. I can remember my father dropping off windows with broken glass, to Duane his father at the Glass House to get repaired. Generations of business in Siouxland seem to come an go but not forgotten! Dave an Dennis kept the business going for many years after his father. I am saddened again to hear of Dave. Last month it was Tim Scherger and seems to become more and more of a reality. Many good memories of my friends and classmates!
Tom will be missed by all those that knew him.
He was extremely intelligent as most of us knew him from our Class. I remember him and Sherry Wagner together an thought that was a match made in Heaven!
Also my remembering him at football practice and his athletic abilities, that were also as complete as his academia. Rest in peace Mr Schwieger and Bless all your family!
Jeff will be missed by many of us! I'm grateful to have known him threw the years! He was on our class reunion committee and always supportive of what ever he could to join in on to give a helping hand! And talk about creative when it comes to carpentry! The man could build anything including Jeff Woldridge's home, which he did. I would run into Jeff at the Y in the mornings. I thought he had beat the cancer, which he did for a couple of years, until it came back! I offer my prayers to Holly and the girls, Rest In Peace Jeff! And God Bless!
"I will never forget when John Lucas and Charlie Tarvin were walking over to my house one day after school. I want to say it was like in the 5th grade. And I found this dead frozen rabit on someone's lawn about 2 blocks from where I lived, John an Charlie were laughing at me because I was carrying this frozen rabit by the leg. When I got home, I began to bang this rabit on the rail of my front porch! My mother heard something on the front porch an came out and asked me what I was doing? John an Charlie were laughing so hard that my mother scolded me and made me get rid of the rabit!"
I quess some people will do just about anything to get a Laugh!
"Rest in Pease Mr. John G. Lucas, and hope your no where near that Rabit !"

It seems as we all grow older we begin to have those around us now and in the past cross over to the other side of Life! Times like this are hard to understand and difficult to deal with on day to day basis. Garry an Larry would always be together it seems. And they both were used to me saying “Hey, Thanks for the ride home LARRY, and He would say “GERRY”! And visa versa, as twins that is expected I guess! He will be missed by all of us in the class of 72’ Sorry for your and our loss Linda and Family!
Susan, and I go back to our kindergarden days, when they took those goofy photos of us on stage and all our heads the size of watermelons ! There were always those students you wanted to sit next to on test day. She was one of those students, brilliant, nice, friendly, and cute! I would see her from time to time at Hy-Vee or out and about and we would visit. She had not changed her whole life. My condoloences go out to William and both families. Saddened to see our classmates crossover to the other side as young as we are!
Bill will be remembered for his kindness, friendship, loyalty, generosity and this list continues on an on. His laughter was contagious an made others around him smile! His quick wit and just a loving an caring human being! I look back to the times we spent together in High School an at Iowa City! My heart is heavy an sad to hear of this! God Bless You Jackie and your Family at this time an forever!Rest in peace my friend!
